1. DEFINITION
‘Club’ means the Sarawak Club
“Club Rules” means the Rules of the
Club.
“SST” means Sales and Service Tax.
2. RULES OF
PICKLEBALL
The rules as approved by the USA
Pickleball Association (USAPA) shall apply at the Club.
3.
OPERATING HOURS AND USE OF COURT
1. The pickleball courts are open for use
from 8.00am to 10.00pm.
2. The pickleball courts are only to be used for pickleball.
The schedule of use of the pickleball
courts is as follows:

BOOKING AND CANCELLATION OF FREE COURTS AND CHARGEABLE COURTS

The Club shall not be liable to any
member and / or his guests for any accident or injury sustained on the
pickleball courts.
10. ATTIRE
1. All players shall be properly attired
while on the court.
2. Only non-marking court shoes permitted
on court.

BEVERAGE
12. DAMAGE TO COURT
Any damage caused to the pickleball court or any part thereof by any
member or his / her guests shall be made good by that member paying to the Club
the cost of repairing the said damage.
13. OFFENDERS
1.
A fine of RM50.00+SST shall be imposed on the first offence on any member
who or whose guest breaches any of the bye-laws.
2.
For the second and subsequent offence, a fine of RM100.00+SST shall be
imposed.
3.
The Management reserves the right to suspend any habitual offender from
the pickleball courts for a period not exceeding 6 months.
14. COURTS FOR CLUB
ACTIVITIES, EVENTS AND COMPETITIONS
The Management Committee reserves the right to reserve any or all of the
Pickleball courts for the purpose of resident coaching, holding competitions,
friendly matches between the club and other organizations, exhibitions matches
and any other activity as the Committee may deem fit.
15. AMENDMENTS TO
BYE-LAWS
The Management committee may from time to time, add to, alter and repeal
Bye-laws for the regulation of the affairs of the club. Such Bye-laws so made,
added to, altered or repealed shall come into operation and binding on members
after they have been posted in the Club premises for fifteen days.
