1.
Definition
“Club” means the Sarawak Club
“Convenor” means the Club’s Futsal Convenor
“Management Committee: means the Sarawak Club Management Committee
“Club’s Rules” mean the Rules of the Club.
“SST”
means Sales and Service Tax.
2.
Who
May Play
All members of the Club as defined in Rule 7 of the
Club’s Rules are eligible to use of the Basketball court subject to these
bye-laws.
3.
Guests
Subject to the provision of Rule 39 of the Club’s Rules,
guests of members are not allowed to play in periods designated as open
sessions unless the Management Committee’s prior consent has been obtained.
4.
Opening
Hours
The Futsal session shall be opened for use during the
following times at the Basketball Court:-
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8.00am – 9.30pm
5.
BOOKING
OF FUTSAL COURT
a) All Club members may book the court daily from 7.00pm to 9.30pm.
b) The charge is RM10.00+SST per hour per court and includes the use
of the floodlights.
c) Booking can be made up to one (1) day in advance on first come
first serve basis.
d) Members can make bookings either in person at Sports Counter or
over the telephone.
e) Members who fail to show up for their
booking will still be charged the full amount of the booking.
f) Any cancellation must be communicated to
the Sports Counter with at least four (4) hours notice period before the start
of the booking.
g) If the member reserving the court does not
occupy it within ten (10) minutes after the time stated in the booking
register, the member will still be charged but the court may be used by other
members subject to paying the appropriate charges.
6.
Dress
Code
Members and their guests playing futsal shall be properly
attired while on the courts. While on the courts no players shall be without
shirt. Futsal shoes with spikes are not allowed.
7.
Liability
For Injury
The Club, its agent and servant shall not be liable to
any member and/or his guest for any accident or injury sustained on the
Basketball/Futsal Court.
8.
Littering
No member or his guest(s) shall litter the courts or
surrounding area, or leave any waste rubbish or anything whatsoever brought in
by him or his guest(s) onto the Basketball/Futsal Court.
9.
Food
& Beverages
Drinks in glasses and food of any kind shall not be
brought onto the Basketball/Futsal Court.
10. Amendments to Bye-Laws
The Management Committee may from time to time, add to,
alter and repeal Bye-Laws for the regulation of the affairs of the Club. Such Bye-Laws so made, added to, altered or
repealed shall come into operation and binding on members after they have been
posted in the Club premises for fifteen days.
