DEFINITION
“Club” means The Sarawak Club
“Convener” means the Club’s Gym Convener and his appointed
Sub-Committee.

GUESTS AND OTHER CLUB MEMBERS
5. ATTIRE
Gym users shall be properly attired. Only rubber-soled shoes shall be allowed in the Gym and Studio.

All
members shall train with a personal towel at all times and clean the equipment
after use for the convenience of other members.
6.
SMOKING
Smoking is
prohibited in the Gym and Studio.
7.
FOOD & BEVERAGES
All forms of food and beverages shall be prohibited in the
Gym and Studio. Only water in non-glass containers will be allowed.
8. CHILDREN
Children under 13 years old shall be prohibited from
entering the Gym premises and Studio unless on training program organized by
the Club with prior approval from the Management Committee in writing.
9.
ACCESS
Gym Members are required
to register with the face-recognition system which will validate their access
to the Gym and Studio.
10. DAMAGE
TO EQUIPMENT
Any damage caused to any equipment by any members or his
guests shall be made good by that member paying to the Club the costs of
repairing the damaged equipment.
11. PROPERTY
OF THE CLUB
The equipment, magazines and any other item at the Gym and
Studio belong to the Club and shall not be taken out of the Gym.
12.
NO LIABILITY FOR INJURY / LOSS
The Club shall not be liable to any Gym member and / or his
guests for any accident and injury sustained or for the loss of or damage to
any article or property belonging to the member and / or his guests.
13. TIME LIMITS FOR EQUIPMENT
USE / HOGGING
Any equipment with time limits set for its use shall not be
used exceeding such time limits. Also no hogging, whatsoever, of any equipment
is permitted.

15. AMENDMENTS TO THE
BYE-LAWS
The Convenor reserves the right to amend any of the above
bye-laws from time to time as he deems fit. Such amendments shall be conveyed
to the Gym members through the Club’s newsletter or by being posted on the Gym
Notice Board.
